Alexander Place-Closed

The staff is very kind and patient and upbeat. Very caring and ensure the family is contacted often if they feel there is information that they need to know. They get to know their patients on a personal level which adds an extra level of care.

feels like home

The community is one of the best in our area. The staff is wonderful and they let me bring in my dog to visit. The community is smaller so there is more attention to the residents. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Incompetent

My loved one who suffered from early onset Alzheimer's was placed here in [date removed] and passed in [date removed]. After being left unattended for almost 12 hours she fell and was not able to recover from that event. She rapidly declined and passed. She was only 60 and in my opinion the lack of responsible care is the reason she passed in such a short amount of time after being placed in this facility. Do not be fooled by the beautiful building or the sales pitch given by the leadership.

They Closed

We moved in some furniture for my mom but they closed their doors and we had to move out. For 3 weeks we had her belongings there. My mom was not there yet so we did not experience much with them but they were a 4 from what we saw.

Coming Home

We put our dad here, he loves it and everyone who works here. They spoil him rotten! If he missed his ice cream social they leave a friendly note and put ice cream in his freezer. [Removed], the maintenance man stops by to chat and that makes dad feel good. Dad is a proud man and hated the thought of moving to a senior living facility. He was depressed and angry, he thought my sister and I were trying to take away his independence. One day he agreed to look at Alexander Place and he liked it. Now he loves it only …

This is a nice community. The staff are nice, but they need better communication on my mom's care. The community is very clean and maintained. They offer good meals and she is happy that they will work with her needs of being a vegetarian. They do offer activities and she is enjoying them. We would recommend families to tour this community for care for a loved one.
