Great communication

They are very responsive and check in with family regularly. All the staff (from medical to administrative etc) are very friendly and compassionate. Room sizes are great- spacious, clean, space is comfy feels like a home setting

Senior Care Lite

My comment would be: Assisted Living is ok if your loved one doesn't need any individualized attention to their needs and has minimal dementia behaviors. Memory Care is an absolute disaster unless your patient is placid and docile. The limited staff and administrators have no tolerance, training, or understanding for falls or advanced dementia behaviors. If you love them, find a more suitable facility at the beginning rather than risk getting "dumped" when your family member needs care most.

Some of the staff are personable; a few are not. The DON doesn't respond to my inquiries. Two sisters clean the apartments. They are friendly and respectful and do a nice job. Dining hall servers are helpful and caring. I think the food could be better, but Mom and other residents enjoy it. Servings are small, but seconds can be requested or one may order a lot of side dishes. Move in was simple as mom's apartment has an outside door. Communication is with me, since mom takes no responsibility for herself. I recomm…

An all around great experience

The staff at Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living are awesome. They are all very friendly and helpful, including housekeeping. The move in process was top notch. They recommended a mover and actually helped fund a portion of the move. They actually put my uncle in a model room temporarily (a week) until his permanent room became available. I would definitely recommend Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living to others.
