Amavida at Lakes Park

The place was new and fresh and well appointed. Pools and restaurants were lovely, as was the library and all the public areas. Gardens were nice too. The bedrooms are on the small side and closet space is sparse. A few of the layouts were goofy; one with a living room you would be hard pressed to get a sofa and tv in and it was right in the a pass through area from kitchen to bedrooms. And another where they combined two, one bedroom apartments to make one and the result was a kitchen counter that was 15 feet lon…

Lived Here 4 years with my cat

Love where I live. This is where I belong. Close to a park where I can walk or ride a bike. Food and service is great. Housekeeping is wonderful. Activities are fun. Something for everyone. Onsite Dr, PT, NP, physical therapy, Great.

Like a luxury Cruise Ship Voyage

Beautiful first impression. Clean wide bright hallways. Resort type pools. Gym loaded with nice equipment every sport activity you'd want.Food is good to excellent. Good portions. Everything is well maintained. Connected to city park with all sorts of activities and walking trails.

A good place to live, meets my expectations

Offers varied activities, meeting my needs and expectation. It's excellent location, and friendly and excellent staff makes it a very satisfying place to be comfortable and a home like place to live.

Senior Living at it's finest

As a long time resident of Amavida, I have seen some changes along the way. Amavida, however contines to present the best options for senior living. We have 2 dining rooms, a movie theatre, beauty salont, art studio, butterfly garden, resident train room, happy hour with live entertainment several times a month, along with resident run cards (bridge, euchre, etc) and all types of games and clubs.
