★★★★★
PositiveI gave it a 5 because everyone is so helpful and kind. My mother's husband has been making friends with the staff and residents. And has started participating in activities!! Something I didn't expect. Even though he can be a handful. The staff has set some boundaries and hopefully he will stay with it. I live the small sizes to the houses
★★★★★
PositiveThe initial communication seemed good. But when it actually came down to getting a specific service set up, there was no communication with that provider and even the staff said the provider did not communicate with them. No one seemed to know how to "make it happen." I believe better communication is something to work on in most environments. As with anywhere, there are staff who are great and those who are not. Overall, most of the staff I have interacted with have been kind and helpful. The room is a good size…

PositiveStaff are all very nice also enjoyable to be around. Since we are Independent, there is not much care. There is a person here who you can hire to clean your apartment. There are apartments in a different building for assisted and memory care. Food is good, there is always reason people can complain about. There is one main meal, if you don't like it there are about 8 other choices. Apartments are kind of small but they have one and 2 bedroom and 1 or 2 baths. The public areas are always clean.
★★★★★
PositiveI chose American House Holland because of the price. They could improve on the food.
★★★★★
PositiveI was looking for assisted living for my 95 year old aunt who could no longer live alone. [name removed] was wonderful, showing me all of the wonderful amenities that American House has to offer. She then explained the financial end of matters. When I entered the facility I was greeted by the staff and everyone was very friendly. My mom was at American House about 10 years ago and we were very pleased then and now.
★★★★★
PositiveI would highly recommend American House! Everyone has been very helpful. My parents love it there. I live in Wisconsin, so I talked to them. They love the food too.
