Artis Senior Living of Davie

[name removed] is a nice man. He asked us relevant questions about our loved one and was very descriptive and helpful about what the facility has to offer. I really like this place. It is clean, the staff speak English, the residents seem happy and well taken care of. Unfortunately for our family member, it seems a bit small. He likes to roam, so needs more space and people.

We visited this facility which had come highly recommended to us. At first glance it seemed very sterile and not very welcoming. It was quickly apparent after talking to a few of the residents and touring the facility that the residents were not kept busy, not kept mentally or physically engaged. The residents were sitting alone without any sort of activity nor entertainment. The residents looked sad and depressed. Artis gets all 5s! We were so happy with it. It was an active, loving and caring place. The staff always went above and beyond - texting photos of mom enjoying activities and giving her the affectionate attention she so loved. For the value we received, it was an absolute bargain!

Wonderful for Memory Care

The Staff and facility are the right recipe for Memory Care residents. The place is simple and homey. The food is easy for residents to eat and staff is helpful during dining time. The activities for the residents are geared toward these specific residents. They try to appeal to their generation familiarity and work on their cognitive abilities. A kind and caring home

The staff is capable, kind and caring. There are many activities available all designed to keep residents active, safe, and healthy. My mom loves the caregivers - and the food! And the medical department does a great job of keeping family apprised of any issues that arise.

I do not recommend Artis

Extremely high turnover of employees. Inability to spend significant time and attention on individual patient issues. My and became a high fall risk. They were simply unable to attend to the care needed to avoid falls. Significant turnover of nurses and administration. And executive directors. I do not recommend because of high staff turnover turnover of executive directors, critical nurse personnel and other administration and management, lack of attention to high end, care, etc.
