PositiveThe ideal place for many people-Maybe not for everyone but it worked beautifully for my husband
Wonderful concept with group home assisted living. And works especially well with Alzheimer’s patients. My husband got lucky and had the BEST roommate. The staff was caring and always willing to make changes, kept me informed and it was like a family. They have home cooked meals, snacks and lots of occasions to celebrate holidays and birthdays. Large back patios and yards.

PositiveAfter we had toured many Assisted Living facilities, we discovered Serenity House through A Place for Mom and immediately decided this was the perfect place for my dad. He is from a small town, would not do well in a 100+ room type place. He is doing very well in their care. He is joining in activities and likes the 7 other people living there. It's easy for him to manage the nice home and they keep him busy and happy.

PositiveThis was nice and well kept home with 8 beds. The home has a live in caretaker, and had features that were nice. My mom likes to walk and they have limited walking facilities for her needs. They do offer everything the bigger homes offer activities and medical rounds just not longer hallways.
