The staffing models are the best compared to the other communities we toured. The 1 bed apartment is adequate for 1 person. The food is great. The entire facility is well maintained. There are plenty of activities. Mom is going to play bingo with other residents today at 3:30. We are very pleased with our choice so far.

Susan fell 12+ times at Atria park and they forced me to pay extra for someone to watch her from 8pm to 8am at $35 per hour. They only have 2 people watching 20 residents at night. This is unacceptable and I complained to them. Unfortunately Susan passed away on July 6, 2025. I give Aria park of Lafayette an F.

I am sorry to give Atria park this score. They are expensive and need more TRAINED staff to watch dementia patients both am and PM. My wife, [name removed], who has dementia, stayed at Atria Park of Lafayette (1545 Pleasant Hill Rd, Lafayette, CA 94549). Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, and I would rate them an F. During her time there, Susan fell 12 times, resulting in several hospital visits. CriticalNot for elderly who need assistance.
They give misinformation and don't have transport for doctor appointments as they stated. They call to complain about something but wait till 11 pm so that I get woken up. When the incident happened early in the day. You can't wait till 8 or 9 the next day? Food not the best. They charge extra for eating in your room. Even though she ate very, very little. Rushed her even though we paid for extra time. Very disappointing

PositiveMy wife was there for a 20 day respite stay and enjoyed it very much.
We selected this facility because their minimum respite stay was only 21 days. My wife thought the stay was wonderful. Her room was very nice, the food was good, the staff very friendly, and she enjoyed the many activities offered.
