They have a lot of higher cognitive individuals, so my dad can form relationships. They've also been patient for the most part to work with our unique situation while we kept having to delay his arrival due to the previous guardianship.

The reason we gave the overall experience a 4 is mostly due to the food is not always too good. My sister does like some of the staff members quite a bit, she doesn't like to socialize a lot, she likes her privacy. She really complains about the food mostly.

My mom is loving it here. This facility is great. Everything has exceeded our expectations. The staff is so friendly and the residents are great. They take very great care of mom here. It's a more down to earth place, which works for her type of living and lifestyle in general. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends.

Positivemy experience at Avamere has been okay so far. there are a few things that I think could use some improvement, starting with the food. the food is not always exactly as its represented. for example: the pork chop has no bone at all, it doesn't even look like a pork chop. it does taste okay, but it just doesn't look like what it is. the food does have variety in every meal and you can have a few different type of sandwiches if you don't like what they're serving. you have the choice of soup as well, but it is the sa…
