I would give Avanti senior living at 5 in every category! We started out with the assisted-living, but our family member had to go into memory care within three months. So, I can speak to both types of care at Avanti. Another category that you don't have listed is Communication. Communication between families and administration is extremely important. It’s a stunningly beautiful facility, and it feels like you are on a luxury cruise ship. On the one occasion that I visited the facility, the staff were friendly and helpful. Quality of care - This rating deserves explanation; while the care was very good, the facility was experiencing a high turnover in staff, and the resident/patient has Alzheimer’s disease and is incontinent multiple times per day. I wish I had better things to say about Avanti. At first glance I was wowed by how beautiful, new, and clean this facility is. But I quickly learned you can’t judge a book by its cover. What pains me most about not giving a high review is that the majority of the staff members are wonderful! However, they were severely understaffed. This resulted in many falls for my father. I can make this short and sweet! Avanti Sr Living has exceeded every requirement we had for placing our loved one in a safe, lovely, immaculate, professional, caring, and skilled facility.
