My mother is getting involved in most of the activities, except for crafts (poor eyesight--1 eye; and bad arthritis in hands). Especially enjoys the entertainment. Food is good. Cleaning is good and apartment and facility are ALWAYS clean and tidy. Apartment size is perfect for my mom.

My mom enjoyed living there after she allowed herself to! She had 24 hour care if and when she needed it. Housekeeping once a week, very good, healthy meals. She participated in daily activities. My mom was thriving at the Barrington. She had a social life and friends. I had the peace of mind to know she was safe. The nurse aides would contact me with any questions or concerns. I find the staff very helpful. Anything I ask for their help with they are usually willing to work with me. My only negative would be transportation. She is available on a very limited basis to drive them to appointments. Also wish there were some arts and crafts for them to do. Other than that, very happy with the Barrington.
