BEDFORD RESIDENCE ASSISTED LIVING

We arrived at Bedford and couldn’t figure out where to go. Building #2? Sure! The director drove into the parking lot as we were trying to figure it out. The entire facility stank terribly. All of the residents seemed almost comatose. Not one resident was out and about - just sitting at a dining table like robots. I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in this place. Not sure why it has such a high rating!

Love Bedford!

I’ve been volunteering at Bedford for about 6 months and I love it. The residents are taken care of by loving, attentive staff. They are all wonderful! We do fun activities that are engaging. I love that Bedford is a smaller private residence that feels like home.

Great residence

I volunteer at Bedford. It’s a great smaller facility so the residents get more individual attention. Staff has a lot of experience and been there at least 15+ years. It’s very clean and residents have their own private rooms with bathroom included. Activities are included every week, movies, treats, nails, crafts, music, etc…. Great place!!

Hidden Gem

Rooms are nicely sized. It's not a very big place, but this means that the staff to resident ratio is excellent. I visit my mom every week and she is always clean, fed, and seems to generally be very well cared for. Because it isn't a big facility if you have to arrange transportation there isn't a shuttle service or anything like that. They're monthly fees are very reasonable at the level of care they provide. My mom is ambulatory and diminished capacity, and the care she is provided at Bedford makes me feel good …

A caring facility, would definitely recommend, happy with the care

Bedford Residence is a good caring facility. Staff does not have a lot of turnover but sometimes hard to communicate with. Most Residents are in advanced state of need but are well cared for. It is a smaller facility which is also worth mentioning. Residents get more attention that way. I would absolutely recommend Bedford Residence to other families looking.

Smaller facility provides attentive and proactive quality care.

The staff is attentive and kind to residents. They keep residents clean and are proactive with health concerns. The smaller size of the facility allows for customization and individualization of care. Communication with family about activities could be improve on.
