CriticalWhen we moved my mom into Belvedere Commons, it was a huge relief because it was a welcoming, friendly, warm, and generally cheerful place. The residents seemed mostly content and there was a comfortable vibe. The business changed hands not long after that, they have been through I think 5 directors, and things are not nearly as relaxed and comfortable as they were. My mom is in the memory care part and her room is never cleaned well. Her clothes are often stinky and dirty when I come to see her. They have said the…

PositiveHire more help sometimes there is only one tech on the evening shift and it takes a very long time for them to respond. Most of the techs are very friendly and caring. A few are not. The food is great ten times better than rehabilitate facility. When you don't go to the dining room. They are supposed to bring it to your room. Most of the time they bring it with nothing to drink. A few times they never brought anything. When asked they said that the people in the dining room have priority. Then the rooms but if they…

PositiveIt's a really good place and my numbers don't do it justice. Management seems to have a high turnover but the regular staff (med techs, nursing, kitchen, maintenance, etc.) are all pretty stable and really wonderful. The food is probably fine for the residents, but they don't have much variety or fresh vegetables fixed in casseroles and deliciousness. My mom loves scrambled egg sandwiches and I don't think they have ever made her one.

PositiveMy wife only spent three months in the Belvedere prior to her passing. During this time I found the staff took very good care of her. I did think they should add additional activities for the memory ward.
★★★★★
PositiveIt is a smaller facility so one can easily get from one space to another. We have one in Memory Care and the other in Assited Living. They visit often. The facility is updated. The look is fresh. The rooms are spacious compared to others I toured.
★★★★★
PositiveVery nice building, staff very friendly and I would refer others.
