PositiveOur family's experience
The food was excellent. This was my family's first experience with assisted living. We felt that the over all experience was positive . Staff, activities all great . Mom initially participated in most activities and benefited from social contact . We think she would have benefited from earlier placement . Her cognitive decline was rapid and she became combative at times ( evening/ sundown) . Her "friends " tried to help her as did staff but clearly no longer belonged there . PositiveSmooth transition
They are wonderful- can't recommend this place enough! The staff from management to daily care personnel went out if their way to assist me with issues with my Aunt. Facilitated arranging outside care as well as handling pharmacy issues. This put my mind at ease for a smooth transition.

Yes would recommend checking Benchmark and comparing to other assisted livings . Among the many positives we liked the layout of the Plymouth facility. It was not an overwhelming space for mom to learn to navigate. Staff very warm and welcoming and a great activity director keeps them engaged.

When I had questions they found answers for me! The food was not that great! I think they reheated in microwave too much ! Her last assisted living food was really good!
