I would give split rock a four and that's just because of my logistical experience the place itself seemed lovely. a very nice facility however, last minute they explained that their assessment of my father was greater than what our expectations were, and he would need to go into memory care, which they did not have a bed . Which was problematic since we had already signed papers and a lease so they went to transferring us to their Sister facility where my father is now, so it was rather serendipitous, but the expe…

PositiveOverall a nice community.
My mother has been a resident of split rock for a little over a year. She is considered an independent living with no personal aid care. She does get some minimal house keeping. I have had issues regarding lack of house keeping. The activities they offer are wonderful and the staff who run them are also wonderful. Unfortunately my mother who has declining memory does not participate very much although staff does try to encourage her. My mother is a very picky eater and doesn’t eat much. Mom's transition to Assisted living/ Memory Care at Benchmark Split Rock was facilitated by the kind and caring attitude of the staff. Although she objected to the move, these professionals used their skills to consistently and gently find ways to help her with the transition. Split Rock is a fantastic facility. My mother has been a resident in the Assisted Living for almost 1 year. The staff is attentive and very professional putting their resident’s needs as a priority every day. The nursing staff does a tremendous job in monitoring and assisting in medications and care.
