'Great... if you can afford it

From what I have seen and experienced personally, I would give Windermere a 5 on items 1 - 7. However, it's difficult to give a high mark for item 8 simply because the cost is beyond what people of modest means could possibly afford.

A great place to live.

Independent living residents have access to 3 meals a day. There is no "meal plan" and they pay only for the meals they eat. The apartments are spacious and inviting, with plenty of storage.

I thought this was the best fit for my dad . It was modern , clean and the people were very friendly.He really enjoys the food and loves that there is a chapel right there for his Catholic mass. He likes not having to go out for doctors appointments all his medical needs are taken care of right there.

I would highly recommend them. Yes it's been good working with them. They have been very helpful.

Overall great place

We really like it. It's expensive but probably not different from other places like this. The location is very nice. Quiet residential area but close to HyVee grocery store. People rave about the food. I think it's average but reasonably priced. Nice to have a restaurant. Really friendly. Our apartment has lots of windows so very light. Could get better

There should be a check list before you sign up. We were misinformed many times. We do like it but it was a let down on facts before. So many checks and balances and misinformation. I think I could do better
