Review for Bethel Place

Staff is good. Food is nothing special. Room size is very good. It's a newer house and they kept it up.

Our Experience with Assisted Living

What they could improve on would be to have more activities or stimuli for the patrons. My husband cannot do anything for himself and they are always there for him although because of his limitations, has more attention & help than the others. I could not ask for better care from the 2 caregivers.

Review for Bethel Place

A few people there spoke very poor English. Hard to ask them questions about my mom's health and situation. Always has to be there at a certain time so that we would speak with someone we could understand.

Bethel Place review

House lacks activities for the residence. Some days the house could smell better. Staff is overall caring but their hard accents can be difficult to understand. They do take care of the patients but sometimes they are short staffed. Meals are home cooked but it takes time for patients to get use to the flavor. TV is the only activity residents have. Cost is fair but the items I mentioned should be improved

Disappointed

I was excited at first but then disappointed. They lost power due to a storm and did not have a backup generator. My father was on oxygen and nebulizer breathing treatments. He went without for a day and a half and had to go back to the hospital. Just would have helped if I had known that was a possibility. For a skilled nursing memory care facility with seniors with specific needs, a generator is a must to ensure proper care.
