Beulahland Assisted Living

Disappointing.

It was a dark and gloomy place. Not cozy or warm. It didn't have a pretty or uplifting environment. On one occasion it was extremely cold in her room. To the point we were uncomfortable. The ones in charge stayed at a distance, almost like they were hiding.

Friendly environment.

The staff are not professionals. It is clean and friendly, but if someone is in need of healthcare, this is definitely not the place. I chose this place because of cost. And it was the only assisted living that would accommodate my husband who required a Hoyer lift. By the way, I really appreciated your staff in finding this place for me because I was in a panic mode and your staff was awesome

My wife and I scheduled a tour for this facility, hoping to bring my mother here after bringing her back home to be closer to us. Upon arriving we were greeted by a very nice girl who addressed herself as the Assistant manger, she intruding us to the nurse and everything seemed great. Until we were introduced to the manager and she took over the tour. She was nice but we could not understand her, she was uneducated in almost every question that we asked. FYI

I would only give this facility of three in all categories. It is affordable, but hard to get to because it's on West Virginia mountain roads. The staff is not professionally trained individuals. They are kind and caring, but not necessarily trained to handle any kind of a health situation. If a person going, there has medical issues. This is not the place for them.

Exceptional experience, highly recommend

It came as a blessing to me

I would have to rate all eight of them a five. I have been very satisfied with the facility. The country setting is beautiful, and their resident fees are fair. They have a wonderful in home nurse and she is great!
