What I keep reminding myself is that this is a journey with ups and downs and challenges for all which includes the caregivers. What I appreciate most is the kindness of the staff and the willingness to listen to the good and the bad and to take action on my feedback. My father’s new home.

I’ve had an exceptional experience with the staff here at Blossum Creek. [name removed] and [name removed] are two of my favorites! They have done an exceptional job accepting my father as part of their Blossum Creek family. And even as much as sending a picture from his birthday, or just texting me back personally when I ask how everything is going. [name removed] is truly a gift to her profession, and I am bust knowing that my father is doing well every day.

would not recommend

I rated friendliness 3 because there are some employees there that were genuinely great, but overall our experience with Blossom Creek was terrible. This facility was not equipped to handle someone with my father‘s type of dementia. We were made promises that he would be taken care of, but the first chance they got to kick him out they took it. And only after 6 weeks. They didn’t give him an opportunity to have a medication change or even the option of coming back. They sent him to the hospital where he stayed f…

So far we love it. It has been a difficult adjustment, especially to memory care where our loved one has less freedoms. But she's proud of her room, and she introduces us to her friends. She really enjoys taking part in the activities. The only time we have trouble is if we take her out for lunch or things like that. It reminds her of how things used to be and kind of gets her down. But we know that we made the right choice for her care. Its just been difficult. I think all these types of places are overpriced, but…

Much Better Place Than Prior Community

It is a good place for your loved one. I just compare this community to the prior community and it is better. My loved one is doing more, is feeling better, and more active and social with other residents. The community is allowing window and virtual visits. During the summer we were able to have outside visits.

Mom is very well cared for at Blossom Creek.
