Community Amenities & Services Every aspect of our community has been designed to enrich and simplify the lives of residents. Services range from housekeeping and laundry to medication management and incontinence care. Emergency response services are available at all times, and our 24/7 care team includes nurses to meet general medical care needs. All staff members have received specialized memory care training to meet the dynamic needs of Alzheimer’s, dementia and other memory-related diseases. All activities and events are planned with residents’ unique interests in mind, and are centered around cognitive enrichment. Residents often enjoy a day of pampering in the beauty salon, soothing afternoons gardening, and independent strolls through our secured courtyard, among many other activities. Our culinary team provides three tasty, nutritionally balanced meals a day, and residents enjoy restaurant-style dining among their peers. While we handle the day to day, residents can focus on the activities that bring them joy and flourish. Living Arrangements We offer private and semi-private studio-style accommodations to meet your loved one’s privacy needs. All units are located on the ground floor, providing serene views of the surrounding landscape and ample sunlight from the windows. Thoughtfully designed, the layout of each unit is safe, spacious, and easy to navigate. Care Types Offered Bristol Park at Conroe is a Type B assisted living facility . In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows: Assisted Living Facility A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities: Type A: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted. Type B: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair. Type C (Adult Foster Care): Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents. The staff are professional and thoughtful, the layout simulates a quaint main street with a coffee shop, hairdressers, restaurants, movie theater, and other "local businesses."
