Good service for a good price

Overall this is a very nice community - clean, spacious, attractive, with a beautiful dining room, attractive private or shared rooms, and staff that really seem to care about your loved ones' health and wellbeing. And The Gardens at Broadmoor Court is noticeably cheaper than our last facility. My only desire is that perhaps they hire a few more administrative staff. Some improvements needed

The staff are not friendly to residents or guests. Except for the Executive Director, RN, and the Engagement Director, the other employees dont acknowledge anyone's existence. Residents are allowed to smoke in both the smoking and non- smoking areas even after I brought it to the attention of the ED. My mother doesn't smoke and has no where to sit outside with inhaling second-hand smoke. The 3 cooks are not good and people complain all the time about the food or dont eat. Highly Recommend

When we first visited, we were greeted by a very light and airy facility that had happy residents and happy staff. Broadmoor Court feels more like a hotel nice hotel then an assisted living place. My father's apartment is modern and very nicely laid out. I have nothing but positive things to say about Broadmoor Court.

When we first got here we had a very hard time finding parking. There was a little side yard off of the front door and the staff were all standing there smoking, it just felt unkept. They did not look or seem professional at all. We peeked in the front door and the wheelchairs were lined up in the hallway and people were just sitting there slumped in their chairs and that really bothered me.
