PositiveOne concern is that there does not appear to be a program specifically designed to help new residents acclimate to the transition into assisted living. However, we chose this community over others because of how clean, welcoming, and inviting it felt. We were especially impressed by the open layout, the beautiful dining room, and the attractive courtyard.
★★★★★
PositiveWould rate all at 4, for my Mother and her condition. Facility and her room were clean, staff very helpful and caring to her, food and service for her is good. Activities were enjoyable for her...when she went.
★★★★★
PositiveI have found that my experience is as good as that I thought would be. My only real question is why is the entrance fee to any of the facilities here in Florida as high as $[removed] before before you can move in, and then pay high monthly fee? I don't require a large amount of space, so my studio is just fine and is well maintained. The meals are good tasting. The eating area is also clean and comfortable.
★★★★★
PositiveThey seem to know each resident personally. They keep track of who has appeared for meals and check on those who don't. I have seen them in action during an emergency and they are prompt and all hands on deck. The activities director interacts beautifully with the residents.
★★★★★
CriticalWe did not have a good experience. This is not a good place for someone with more complex medical issues. They need tablets to bring to rooms when delivering medication so that residents know what they're taking. My impression was that staff was getting compensated for recommendations to certain services. Kitchen ran out of basics like cottage cheese and soft drinks. Requests for nighttime help often took a long time or were not answered.
★★★★★
CriticalIt was better when my mom first moved in. Care and food quality have noticeably decreased since the new manager took over. There's been a lot of turnover of staff since the new manager took over.
