Visit to place mother in assisted living

First when you walk in the place is bright, friendly and clean. I was greeted by more than one person . We were given a tour of the entire living area, large nice dining room, inviting living room with lots of seating fireplace and big screen tv. We had lunch and the food was wonderful. The residents that we meet were very happy and sitting outside in a very lovely entry with rockers and chairs lots of flowers and greenery which my mother loved. We were very impressed with sales director and did not feel pressed. S

Great environment

We choose Brookdale for my husband When we had our tour our tour guide Was very comforting and explain that I his spouse could also live here with him. That was very comforting to me and my family so he would not be alone. The activity have been very helpful for it keeps him busy The room has been an adjustment for me (A bit smaller) but very lovely. This environment has been wonderful for my husband everything we were told about Brookdale during the tour. Living here for 6months we have met all residents that

Always Engaged

We were a little weary about moving our father into an assisted living facility. Several years later, we can see that it was the best move we could have made. His meals are provided, along with laundry services, activities and a variety of games and mind exercises to keep the residents sharp as a tack! All the staff and most residents know each other by name and establish friendships quickly. I can now see that it was the best move for him!

Our family's experience

We spoke with Georgia from A Place For Mom and Chris at Brookdale Auburn. They were both fabulous! We felt stuck and they were able to help us immediately! We met with Chris on a Thursday and moved Dad into Auburn Brookdale on Saturday. The staff food activities everything about Brookdale Auburn is phenomenal! Dad is really enjoying all of the activities, the food and all the people have been so nice and very welcoming to him. I would highly recommend it to anyone in this situation.

Warm and welcoming

Very welcoming to my mother - made her feel at home right away. She loves the activities each day and the fact she gets to go on walks each day. Staff are friendly and cater to her special diet needs.

Overall would recommend

The management, nursing and day staff are awesome, the evening staff - sometimes you need to follow up when asking for a welfare check. Mom has enjoyed the activities once she got involved. Food is good, although there has been turnover so it has fluctuated. The place is good and her room apartment is decent size. Her room is often used during tours.
