PositiveThe staff is, to a person, very caring and helpful. My Mom is thriving there, enjoying daily activities like exercise classes, games, music, and bingo. She enjoys socializing with the other residents in the lobby (especially in the winter where there is a warm fireplace) and in the dining room during meals. Everyone there is very friendly and accepting.

PositiveEveryone was very welcoming. The place was clean and the residents seemed happy and friendly. We really appreciated the resident who showed her 2-bedroom apartment as it made it look more “cozy” in my mother’s view. The 1-bedroom apartment was really too small for 2 people and the small apartment-size oven was very old. The balcony was nice in that you could walk right outside (on the first floor). PositiveVery nice facility. It was friendly. We thought $removed] was for the both of us. That fit into our budget.

The are good activities every day, and the residents seem very nice. My Dad has excellent care there, and the food ( especially breakfast ) is very good, with a slow, but attentive staff on hand. There is a courtyard area set up for grilling/ guests if they so choose, and the kitchens are decent, but need permission to turn on appliances due to sa…

PositiveThe Aides at Brookdale, who interact with my Mother-in-law daily, are absolutely wonderful. They truly care.

CriticalI moved my wife from BD bc she did not do well there. The facilities and food were fantastic. Activities were ok but need more hands on opportunities I.e arts/crafts. Central admin was excellent but leadership in the memory care unit was very poor and negatively influenced the sides. Some aides were fine while others obviously didn't want to be there.
