Facility is very clean. The grounds are beautiful in a nice quiet neighbor neighborhood. Good variety of dining choices. Residents seemed happy

My family's experience

Staff was all very nice and helpful but not always quick to respond, particularly the medical staff. Food was good if sometimes bland; there could have been more fiber. I can't comment on activities as my mother never did any. Cleanliness was great, other than the very old stained carpet on the main floor lobby. Apartment was WONDERFUL -- just the right size with a full kitchen. Beautiful wall colors and modern flooring. My mom is 92 y.o. and ?????? it at Brookdale Pinecastle, Chamberlain in Ocala!!! Great meals, loved bingo & Piano most,([Name Removed], activity lady was great) The residents were so wonderful to her. She misses her "neighbors, [Name Removed] & [Name Removed] on the 2nd floor. Her favorite person was [Name Removed] at the desk. She will be back. Only complaint is billing department.??

My tour was very informative. Lots of things to do at the facility as well as transportation to stores, doctors appointments and church services as needed. Dining options are plentiful, with restaurant style seating and options. Apartments are nice, though studio rooms are a little small.

The type of apartment that we both were looking for was not available. Because we have dogs, we have to be on the first floor. We were told we have to take a different apartment and we would then be placed on a list when the type we wanted was available. We feel we are not going to move twice. We will wait or go elsewhere.
