Friendly Staff

All staff made an effort to stop and welcome Mom on her first day and she really appreciated that. The staff that cleans her apartment is extremely kind and does a wonderful job.

I'm sorry. I can't give a 5 due to the information below. The staff took very good care of my mother. Staff had great communication with family. Her ONLY complaint was her seating for meals. She physically wasn't strong , but she craved human interaction and conversation. She did join in on activities that she could. But again, her only complaint was seating for meals.

I appreciate the time staff took to explain the facility and services. The assistance of the staff to help get the assessment for admit done quickly and helping establish local third-party services.

Wonderful staff made for a great experience

1-5 all get a 5, I personally did not have a chance to eat at Brookdale but mother is greatly enjoying mealtime, both the food and companionship. 7 is definitely a 5. Value for the money is also a 5, lots of activities and caring staff.

All the lunch meals that I have eaten at Brookdale have been delicious and nutritious. Brookdale is expensive in comparison to other places but worth it if you can afford it. They try to get the residents involved in various activities throughout the day so that they get out of their rooms and have interactions with others. Staff are very friendly with the residents and call them by name when they see them throughout the day.

There is SO MUCH waste in food. My uncle can only eat soup or very soft things. There should a way to opt out of 3 meals a day, for which he pays hundreds of dollars. He usually only benefits from breakfast, yet they are required to bring meals that end up in the trash. I would recommend Brookdale. I especially like [name removed], the nurse.
