CriticalWonderful Care Staff/Exorbitant Fees
The staff that takes care of our mom is very good. Kind and caring. We feel very comfortable with the care they provide. But there are two areas of concern for our family. First, we do not understand why the personal care charges are so very high, and we have many times requested detailed invoices but have never received one. My dad has been living here for a few years now. Recently he wanted to join a lunch outing, but I hadn't been by to bring him cash yet.[Name Removed] the Executive Director, paid for his lunch. When I reached out to settle up she simply said it was her pleasure. Before moving here dad's social life was mostly just as a passenger to my social life. I have lived in this community for four years and love the staff and residents. Many now feel like family to me. I was recently in the hospital and a get well sign was made and signed by friends. Everyone here is so friendly. Our Executive Director is top notch. A nurse herself previously and her willingness to help the residents is touching, an open door policy, which is completely different from the three prior Executive Directors, in the over six years I have been here. They have live music, movies, bingo and they keep the facility well maintained. She really feels comfortable with Ivy and Fato on her care team Tricia is very kind and helpful.
