PositiveOverall a great place and highly recommend it
We really did like Brookdale and wish it could've worked out better. Find what interests the family member is interested in and ask questions about that. My mother in law was motivated by meals, so we made sure we asked about that. I think they needed to offer more choices for the residents to pick from.

My mom has been at Brookdale for about 2 months now. I love it there! It’s so beautiful and comfortable! The activities keep mom engaged and help her get more acclimated to her surroundings. The food has been delicious and much healthier than mom had been making for herself over the last several years. The care staff have been exemplary and I’m so happy I found it! I would highly recommend it to others wanting a smaller, comfortable place for their elderly loved ones.

Highly recommend - the staff was amazing!!My favorite thing about Brookdale was the staff - they go above and beyond for their residents. They felt like part of our family - and I miss them now that dad has passed. I also really liked the layout of the facility. One big circle (square) made everything accessible, but somehow afforded a good amount of privacy. Side note: it was important to me that if/when Dad became weaker or his care needs increased...
