Brookdale Fort Myers Cypress Lake

The residence is beautiful and well planned. The tour included many activity rooms and a pool but they are for Independent or Assisted Living. We were only interested in Memory Care. They also have alacarte care. We couldn't get a copy so it was hard to figure if it met our budget needs.

My mom is safe there!!!!

My mother is well taken care of their. The caretaker seem to know her and her personality. Her meals are balanced and they know she loves her sweets. The activities there are perfect for memory care needs.

A worry free memory care facility for a loved one with Alzheimer's.

The staff keeps my wife very comfortable and the activities director keeps the residents occupied with games such as jeopardy, trivia pursuit, and bingo. They exercise in the morning and go out into the garden before it gets hot and have discussions. The facility is very clean and the food appears to be very good. They don't have an activities director on weekends so I make it a point to spend more time with my wife. So far I am very pleased.

I am never contacted

I have not been contacted for any health issues or concerns. This is unacceptable. I need communication from nurses and especially the executive director. I have sent emails with my concern on housekeeping in her room. It has never been addressed

Great Place!

Brookdale Fort Myers Cypress Lake has been such a blessing during an extremely difficult season. Both of my parents are aging and were no longer able to live on their own. My Mom is in assisted living and my Dad is in memory care. Moving my parents into Brookdale has been a great decision. My parents have both adjusted well and the overall experience has far exceeded my expectations. The staff and leadership has been cooperative and understanding. Things not good about our experience; From house keeping to maintenance and losing her belongings that were labeled. In the process of selling my sister's home. I might think about moving her to another facility.
