Review for Brookdale Fort Walton Beach

They were very kind and very helpful every step of the way. I would also like to add that they were very ambiguous on the actual cost of care and nursing. Even when direct questions were asked, the answers were not directly addressed and confusing. They care has been amazing, but the cost is significantly higher than that disclosed before signing up.

Could have worked, but.....

While the staff was very helpful and I believe the facility a good fit, when we decided not to press forward the person in charge stated we would get a refund. It took about 6 months and constant badgering on my part for us to finally be reimbursed.

Overall a great community

[name removed] - The Director, [name removed]- Sales and [name removed] RN - Head Care Support are all AWESOME!! The RN [name removed] is amazing with Mom. The thing that stands out the most is the turnover of assistants , but they are all very caring. Mom says the food on most days is good. She says they overcook the vegetables and some days no flavor, but we understand that could be due to needing to meet the needs of the folks. As for cleanliness- the place was starting to smell but they got all new flooring and…

Brookdale FWB Fl

My sister is well cared for. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to. She says they take good care of her and that she gets plenty to eat. She has made friends with other ladies who are residents. Staff spent extra time with when she arrived to help her adjust. She gets in house PT and they report on her progress. They keep encouraging her.
