PositiveWonderful Staff!
The grounds there are beautiful! There's a pond there with a fountain in the middle, paved walking paths all around, a gazebo, shaded areas to sit by the building. Lots of flowers. They have a gardening club. Dogs and cats are allowed. There are a lot of common areas to hang out, watch TV, do puzzles, etc.

I had been a volunteer at Brookdale for over a year before COVID & felt good about it at the time. My mother-in-law was there for about 3 1/2 months before we took her out. She was beyond their ability to care for her and because I had spent volunteer time there I saw the situation and felt they were only seeing her as a cash cow to get a few more weeks of pay from her. At a family meeting with the management after hospitalizing MIL for the second time, they fought to keep her there and care for her. Very much not …

PositiveWhat a wonderful community for my parents
My parents moved into this community nearly 6 years ago when dad was dx with dementia and their place was too much to maintain. Brookdale provides activites, excursions and a wonderful environment for people to spend their twilight years. They have some staff that have worked their for decades. We have had a good experience with Brookdale Monroe independent and assisted living.
