A Brookdale HealthPlus Community ® The residents at Brookdale Monument Valley Park can enjoy the benefits of Brookdale HealthPlus, which offers on-site care coordination overseen by a registered nurse. Here, residents receive personalized care plans and assistance with chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, and more. Preventative health care services, such as annual wellness visits, immunizations, and health screenings are also provided to help avoid trips to doctors’ offices, or unnecessary emergency room visits and hospital stays. If you are seeking an active assisted living community or personalized memory care services for yourself or a loved one, our skilled and compassionate team is here to meet you exactly where you’re at. At Brookdale Monument Valley Park, we work with you to create an individualized care plan to meet your needs. You control how much assistance you receive, as well as how much freedom you enjoy. Whether you require hands-on care or simply need a little extra assistance throughout the day, our goal is to be there for you each step of the way. Rest assured, trained and compassionate staff are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to any emergencies. In addition to care and safety, residents have access to transportation and salon services, as well as the community concierge. We provide homemade meals each day, and manage your home maintenance and daily chores. Residents are also able to grab items from the general store and use the therapy room, when needed. You can find our community located near Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. We’re also conveniently close to many shopping areas, restaurants, health care offices, and more. Almost everything you could want or need can be found nearby or on site. Community Services and Amenities We understand the importance of variety and having choices. This is why we offer a multitude of daily activities. From age-appropriate fitness classes, to arts and crafts activities, social happy hours, and local excursions, there are plenty of ways for you to embrace your retirement. Beautiful walking paths are located around the community, and the library is well-stocked with a variety of literature options for all likes. If you’re not sure which unit best fits your unique needs, we can help you choose. Each apartment is designed with homelike features, but we encourage you to bring your own personal treasures to help decorate. Emergency response systems are installed in each room to promote safer living and peace of mind. When you live at Brookdale Monument Valley Park, you can rest easy knowing you’ll feel safe and satisfied. Care Types Offered Brookdale Monument Valley Park is an assisted living residence , which in the state of Colorado is a residential facility which provides personal services, protective oversight, social care due to impaired capacity to live independently, and 24 hour supervision (but not to the extent that regular 24-hour medical nursing care is required). Assisted living residences may also provide care to no more than 16 elderly persons who are mentally ill. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Residents seemed happy and engaged. Light and bright open area after entryway. Furniture felt a little dated, but they are replacing some of it slowly. Studio apartments were on the smaller size and not sure we could financially do a one bedroom after adding daily care; however I do like that the add on services are ala carte versus one flat fee for a number of services that one may not need. Would've liked to have seen more fresh food being served in cafeteria, but realize that's
