An alert system, keypad entries, secured entrances and exits, and an enclosed courtyard also help to promote safety. A few additional features include way-finding cues, circular paths, and color-coding, to facilitate easier navigation and mobility for all. Two memory care programs are available here: the Clare Bridge and Solace programs. The Clare Bridge program is an exclusive brand of dementia care. It was established more than 30 years ago and provides residents with six planned activities each day to bolster their mental and physical health. The Solace program provides additional support to residents in the later stages of dementia. It offers assistance with grooming, and activities involving music and aromatherapy. To simplify residents’ days even more, Brookdale's staff assists with transportation, errands, meals, and home maintenance. A concierge service is also available to connect residents’ with on-site resources. Another bonus is the long list of amenities — the community offers a therapy room, a beauty and barber shop, an ice cream parlor, a game room, postal services, and a library. Community Services and Amenities At Brookdale Nine Mile, residents can look forward to engaging pastimes like brain-stimulating games and interactive activities. Participate in the community B-Fit program, clay sculpting classes, and more. An arts and crafts studio, a cozy fireside living room, and a gorgeous garden with walking paths can be leisurely enjoyed anytime. If you would like to plan a private gathering to host loved ones, the community rental space can be reserved as needed. Brookdale’s amenities are designed to make your golden years easier. Be sure to ask about the Personal Solutions program, too, because it can save you a drive to the store. Just submit a list of personal items you need, such as tissues, floss, or other necessities, and staff will deliver them to your door. Best of all, residents are not charged for the delivery.
