PositiveIt was very clean, the staff was so nice. I also toured Canopy Hills and I think that's a better fit for my Dad. Both places are amazing I would recommend either places.

About the community
Experience person-centered and comprehensive care paired with the sweet comforts of home, here at Brookdale Paddock Hills. This home-like assisted living and memory care community is located in the heart of Florida’s horse country. Rest assured, the community puts residents’ safety first and includes a 24-hour security system, emergency response systems in each room, and monitored entrances and exits. Family members and loved ones alike may also find peace of mind knowing the staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to any emergencies. To provide the best care possible, each resident is given a customizable care plan to ensure their needs are met in a timely manner. Would you or your loved one like assistance with managing medications, grooming, or help with other hygienic services? Here, you can receive as much, or as little care, as you need. Plus, you will only be charged for the services you use. Residents in memory care receive tailored support and care in a separate, yet stable and predictable environment. The dementia-trained team members use exclusive programming, like the Clare Bridge program, to provide daily stimulation through dementia-friendly activities. In addition to care, each resident receives assistance with daily chores such as meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, laundry, and more. As an added bonus, the residents of Brookdale Paddock Hills have easy access to the Florida Museum of Natural History, as well as the University of Florida. The community is also conveniently close to Shands Hospital in case medical assistance is needed. A few additional perks available here include the well-stocked library, beauty/barber shop, and the Personal Solutions delivery program. If you need items like hearing aid batteries, moisturizer, paper towels, or other necessities, be sure to send Brookdale’s team a detailed list. From there, the items will be picked up and left at the residents’ front doors. Best of all, the delivery is free! Future residents can choose between a lovely studio or a studio-deluxe apartment to begin their new chapter. All of the spaces are pet-friendly and each space can be decorated using meaningful mementos or personal belongings. If you or your loved one would like assistance moving, or simply have questions, be sure to let the helpful staff know so your requests can be met. Let your golden years shine brighter than ever before when you live here, at Brookdale Paddock Hills. PositiveThe administration staff was great when we were looking at different facilities. My father in law really likes it and they get him involved with the different activities they have. He is now in the memory care wing which they recommend with his declining memory.
★★★★★
PositiveGet to know the care team, including leadership & visit often.

PositiveI rate this visit five stars. The staff is friendly and smiling when they interacted with me. The activities schedule is well planned and diverse. The facility has many veteran functions which my husband would love. Our dogs and I can visit any time of the day or night. The menu fits the diverse needs of each occupant. The Sales manager and staff are involved in community activities for veterans and dementia related groups. It is a very comfortable setting and occupants seem to be happy there.
