We had good communication at first but it waned as time went on. I live 4 hours away, but my niece lived fairly close in Pearland. I feel once my sister couldn't do for herself everything went into the ditch. She didn't care for showers and it was difficult for her to let strangers bathe her....but ..for the outrageous monthly charge I would think their memory care staff would know how to handle a dementia patient to make it more agreeable. Our counselor [name removed] found it as an alternative for us. it has Brookdale's reputation but Healthcare Plus that gives it the care we needed. We would recommend it to others. One thing we notice is that it would be so positive if there were more men that lived there. Also we picked building 4 because of the beautiful patio.
