PositiveExcellent facility, good location, particularly for us - as it is near our healthcare providers. Right across the street from the Stanwood YMCA - a great facility for maintaining your exercise routines, etc.

PositiveThe staff was very friendly. The apartment was a nice size for my Aunt. The food was very good. Didn't have any activities going on at the time. But my Aunt has been participating in the activities since she's been there. She loves it there. We're glad that we choice Brookdale to place my Aunt there.

CriticalThey charge a premium price, but our mother wasn’t receiving premium care. She wasn’t able to get to the cafeteria, so they brought meals to her room. She wasn’t able to get to the table to eat, or dispose of, the food she couldn’t eat. The meals piled up for several days with no one asking why, and checking on her. They blamed it on lack of employees, but if they aren’t going to provide the care that is paid for, they should lower their prices.

Care costs were added without our knowledge. They insisted that we buy and bring our own toilet paper. The financial aspect was very stressful, not always accurately charged.
