Brookdale Texarkana

I’m putting my friend in there as if this week. I really do like this place and they seem like they will take good care of her and give her the medical attention she needs with assisting with her meds and giving them to her on time.

I would rate Brookdale a 5 My father on the hand was very unhappy. He loved the food and the staff. The problem was add on 's . He is very needed and there was a fee for everything he requested. The set fee was payable but with additions the cost was almost double. He went to ER several times in Texarkana and we had to come from Atlanta very late at night to return him . Brookdale Texarkana

Brookdale l e wasn't the best place for my sister. The stress of her being away from her own home has made her illness progross very fast. We are taking her back home and Visiting Angels will be coming in. Nice place. Very clean, staff is helpful and the Director ([name removed]) is awesome. She goes the extra mile.

Room for improvement

Most workers are kind but there are quite a few that could do better. My mom hates meal time. Everyone is hallowing for something and [name removed] and workers can be rude. I think it's too crowded up. Washing is brought back still wet at times. My mother is very neat and tidy so they don't clean her room. I want it vacuumed and bath room cleaned regularly especially the toile and sink. No matter what she says---clean the room. Dusting too. Mom hates the food. Highly recommend

Everyone was genuinely caring and professional. The nurse was very helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. My only concern was the billing so much added as incidentals. My Father left without notifying in advance and he paid for that. Brookdale was amazing but he was a butthead.

Happy with our choice

Accommodating staff& administrators. Things have been as they were promised. Staff is receptive to complaints & work to resolve issues in a timely way. We receive information about family events so we can make plans to join them for holidays and special events.
