Brookdale West Seattle

Thorough presentation by very knowledgeable exec director and had a chance to see a couple units. The residents were friendly and receptive. Food was good and we even were gifted a cherry pie! We did not like the idea of living on such a busy street with a dog, but the ambience, info and friendliness of all was first rate!

Five Rating - I like the management. The staff is good. The food is good. I like my apartment. I would recommend it to others. We need more residents. Many activities are offered, but often only a few show up. This has to be discouraging to the activities director. They are doing a very good of providing variety, and volume. It has kind of a cruise ship vibe. I would recommend and I also mention that I used Place for Mom, and got several very good choices.

So far I would say the rooms of my apartment (one bedroom) are awesome. Both have 18 foot ceilings. High Windows. High ceiling fan. I'm on sixth floor so I have a great view of Seattle skyline. It's across the street from a golf course so there is a lot of greenery. The staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. All the way from the director to kitchen staff, servers, maintenance and housekeeping.

I am very pleased about how everyone is so friendly! The opportunity to ask for anything from books to read to help if I fall or become ill. I am happy here.
