My spouse has thrived since living at Brunswick Village

When I reviewed so many other facilities I saw residents just bored to tears, sleeping in chairs etc., BUT at Brunswick Village I found the activities center busy with games, music, crafts, TV and amazing Activity personnel. Review for Brunswick Village Assisted Living

The staff and management are very professional and friendly. The facility is a bit worn. The biggest reason we chose Brunswick was the fact that my mom has a room of her own and a bathroom. I have spent the night there myself and have had meals and have had no issues. Prices are fair there are higher priced places around but came with a shared room and no bathroom in the room.

Overall it's been great! It's clean almost everyone there is really friendly and courteous. It's really a great place! My mom would like more outdoor space and I was hoping for more monitoring of food/water intake and BMs but i realize now this isn't realistic in facilities and is more for in-home care and my mom is pretty far down the dementia path. Everyone I met was very warm, energetic, and friendly. The facility is very well kept, they answered every question, and really worked to get my mom there. They are trained and cross-trained and work together like a team.

Overall our experience has been good. I've eaten at the dining hall with my dad and each time and was impressed by how kind and attentive the workers were with all the residents. They have been good explaining little problems they have had with my dad so we can work as a team to serve him.

They were wonderful help with Mom's passing. Very caring. Mom didn't want to go but fell in love with Brunswick village within a couple weeks. Loved that even needing memory care she was able to have her own room. You become part of a large family at Brunswick Village.
