Mom has only been a resident for about a month. Since I don't spend all day at her residence, but what I have noticed is, not enough staff. On any given day, there may be two or three staff members. I am guessing there are at least 25 to 30 residents in mom's area. I am not sure she is receiving enough assistance when needed. She had a urine stained bed, that had not been changed for over a week. When I asked, the staff member said the sheets should be changed at least weekly. She immediately changed her soiled she…

Staff is very dedicated. Communicate with ma all the time. They assist residents with celebrating all holidays and send me pictures of my mom. Food is wonderful. Fresh cooked. Staff keeps residents active with games, hobbies, walks and exercising. My mom is in memory care and has a large bedroom with a sitting area. Mom is happier at Brookdale.
