I like that it is laid out in a way that is easy for the residents to maneuver around. They got definitely improved on making the rooms more sound proof. Food definitely needs improvement.

Very helpful, friendly, they answered all of my questions. They have went out of their way to help my mother in law. She had been ill and in the hospital so she is a little weak and they are there to help her get dress clean ,and visit with other guess. They have bèen helping her like she is their mom.

Although Capella's has experienced all the problems with staff and employees like shortages, training and competence like all industries throughout the country, my mother and I both have been very pleased with where she lives, how she is treated and cared for and her overall experience there. They have many activities for her, they keep her regularly scheduled for dining, cleaning her room, doing her laundry, physical activity and personal hygiene. We picked this community, because it appeared clean and it's only 7 minutes from our home. Care isn't very good. If the person says they don't want their medication they just say ok and leave, they don't try to convince them to take it.

Great people, the building is one floor and great for any type of physical limitations and all types of services are provided from laundry and housekeeping if needed. They also have local transportation which is very helpful. They have been having all kinds of staffing problems and consistency with the meals and stuff, so just figured a 3 would be an average score on the food. Would highly recommend Capella at Pueblo West.
