It was great, until it wasn't

We moved my parent into memory care. It seemed good at first, but it quickly became apparent that the staff was not equipped to care for dementia residents who can walk. There was not sufficient supervision or safety measures in place, resulting in numerous injuries. Majority of the residents were wheelchair bound, so if your loved one can't walk, then it might work for you. Overcharging

This is a really nice facility. I am rating them lower because they are charging my mother extra for service they are not performing. My mother takes blood thinners and they charge me $200 per month for monitoring it. They actually don't do anything. I talked with the Nurse Practitioner from the Medicare Advantage plan and she is in there every week and does all the work associated with managing her anti coagulation medication. Very nice community, Philip was an awesome tour guide and very knowledgeable about the community and residents. The community did not have quite the active and "neighborly" feel that my mother is looking for, but the residents we spoke with seemed very happy there!

An Enjoyable Experience For Mom

My mom is really liking her new home. She likes to play bingo and even won a game recently and called to tell me. The community is a very nice and clean place and it is close to my home. Overall, we are happy with our choice for my mom.

A Good Experience

My relative is doing fine at Carlton Senior Living San Jose. It has been going well for him and has been getting a positive experience.

Loved this place. Very clean and friendly. Very comprehensive tour given by Patricia. Residents gave me unsolicited recommendations.
