CriticalIt was great, until it wasn't
We moved my parent into memory care. It seemed good at first, but it quickly became apparent that the staff was not equipped to care for dementia residents who can walk. There was not sufficient supervision or safety measures in place, resulting in numerous injuries. Majority of the residents were wheelchair bound, so if your loved one can't walk, then it might work for you. Food provided was insufficient, and ongoing issues with missing clothes, bedding, and personal items were never addressed. Very unorganized an…
