What stands out: The staff is very caring; ALL staff are engaged in different ways with the residents; and there is a large number of activities (5 daily) that vary and change with time that really provide for social engagement and fun.

Two things really stand out FIRST is hearing about and seeing that ALL of the staff is very caring and makes efforts to know, get involved with and take care of our mom. This is from the custodian, the maintenance man, the kitchen staff, activity director, nursing staff, and the executive director [name removed]. My father in law was a hard patient but they evaluated him before they took him in. At one point they said he needed to Leave because of his language. We understood. He had never talked like that before. We had looked at several places but they wouldn't take him because he couldn't get around well. I notified them every place I checked.
