You have to furnish the whole room. Wasn't expecting to have to buy a bed and all the bathroom stuff like a shower curtain. They do seem to have a high rate of staff turnover that concerns me a little bit. But overall it is a great place. The memory care unit has a ton of room and a wonderful court yard.

PositiveI recently toured Cedarhurst in Newburgh for possible future placement of an immediate family member. The facility is very clean, decorated nicely, and a comfortable setting. Staff seemed really friendly and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the layout of the memory care unit as that's whst we will need for our family member. It's a bit out of our price range but reasonable compared to other facilities we toured. Definitely worth looking into depending on your budget.

I toured Cedarhurst and was blown away by a number of things. It's a brand new, gorgeous facility. The staff was all incredibly courteous and knowledgeable. The kitchen is open all day and you can order off of a menu (almost unheard of!). The amenities were phenomenal. The shared spaces available for families and friends to gather were plentiful and decorated with quality furniture. This is definitely a welcoming place. Highly recommend!

I visited Cedarhurst and it is amazing! It's new so everything is spotless. It's not only a beautiful facility, the people that work there are beautiful, too. From the moment I walked in the door, I noticed the employees seemed genuinely happy to be there. The apartments for the residents are adorable. You can live solo or with your spouse.
