Community Amenities and Services Our team works hard to connect with each resident and their families to learn their history, customizing activities based on their interests and supporting their overall wellbeing. Our exclusive Meaningful Moments memory care services offer countless opportunities for residents to enjoy enriching activities, designed to stimulate the mind, body, and spirit through purposeful programming. This can look like participating in the green thumbs club, table top games, movie nights, happy hours, exercise programs, choir practice, ice cream socials, creative art classes, and planned outings with fellow residents. Our Signature Dining element of Meaningful Moments embraces healthy meals and nutritious snacks to promote health and hydration throughout the day, offering even more opportunities to connect with friends and neighbors. Here, we understand the importance of staying connected to loved ones in order to build upon relationships. That’s why we partner with families through education, transition assistance, and frequent communication through the Sagely app. For families and caregivers in need of temporary care, we also provide short-term respite care services. Living Arrangements We offer private and companion floor plans for each resident to choose from. Each suite has been designed to be nurturing and familiar for residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Along with weekly housekeeping and laundry services, residents are encouraged to decorate their space with their favorite family photos and treasured memories. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows: Assisted Living Facility A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities: Type A: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted. Type B: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair. Type C (Adult Foster Care): Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.
