PositiveIt's all about the service.
The food is excellent, the grounds are well kept. There are many activities. The staff is friendly. But they are short staffed so the response is slow and there are gaps in the service.

Great food. In fact it's probably the best place for the food in comparison to other similar facilities. My problem is I recently had to my gall bladder removed bebecause of the inability to digest fats and sodium. The activities are plentiful and varied enough to appeal to a wide audience. But then I only have a masters degree from UC Berkeley, which may be a little too far afield for this place . Oh and bring lots of money for this place because the rent here is out of this world.

Clearwater at Sonoma Hills is a wonderful, clean place with a friendly and caring staff. My mother has adjusted well and now calls it home (even though, of course, she would have preferred to be in her home.) The med techs are conscientious and are quick to call me with a question or to confirm an order. They always prepare her meds for me if I'm taking her out for the day or weekend. It is also very clean and her one bedroom apartment is new and nice with a full fridge. They have cleaning and laundry services as w…
