PositiveClearwater is very special to me. I've made wonderful friends here. The management are kind too. There are things the need to change as it is more suited for independent living instead of assisted living. It's all been a rewarding time for me.

PositiveSome elevator issues. At least 1 down all the time, and you have to really talk nice to it for it to take you up. Parking garage door has the same problem. Very attentive staff. Would recommend.

CriticalSomething's are really good like the floor to ceiling windows and mom's apt is 700 sq ft. However wheel chair accessible can be cumbersome (her refrigerator opens the wrong direction, no auto open on the door of her apt., no toilet paper holder). Restaurants are reasonable good. I eat there once a week. Still trying to figure out the activities. Care can be inconsistent. They get it right about 80% of the time. I have cameras in her apt so initially spent a lot of time give feed back to the care givers. Management …

Positive[name removed] (sales) was excellent and gave us a wonderful tour and experience. She made my dad feel welcome and put us at ease that he would be well taken care of and happy at clearwater. The food is also excellent!
★★★★★
PositiveIt is the best place I found. If a person needs a lot of assistance it may not be best choice. Sometimes admin is hard to reach. Facility really clean. Housekeeping services minimal. It is a function of how willing the person is to be involved. It has a lot to offer. No onsite medical facilities. That would be a plus. Upscale environment and many opportunities to socialize and participate in activities. Probably not the best for someone with heavy medical needs or lots of assistance
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff is kind and caring to all residence, the food is good, offering weekday specials for variety. We have exercise classes and weekly entertainment. There is independent living or for individuals needing help with pill taking or bathing, those needs can also be met. It's a lovely place.
