In addition to our assisted living services, we present a specialized program for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia called Generations Memory Care. A nurse manager and full-time case manager ensure that care is provided at all times. Our staff is constantly updated on new techniques for the best level of care. Rooms feature an emergency response system and we ensure that every detail meets the personalized needs of each resident in the program. Cogir of Turlock also offers Master-Care - Master•Care is an Enhanced Care Management and Community Support provider in multiple California counties and is contracted with multiple Managed Care Plans. This program helps bridge between the healthcare world, the private-pay world and the Managed Care world, Master•Care helps bring together needed services — on a case-by-case basis — to improve outcomes and reduce financial burden.

PositiveOur experience
Going to get a mix of really good people and unfortunately some lazy ones who aren't as helpful. Staffing has been short lately. Don't know if that is on purpose or due to turnover. Food is just ok. Would have given it a 4 in the first 6 months but quality has dropped. My Mother has been at Cogir just over a year.

CriticalThey start off all helpful. Then after you have your loved one in there not so helpful anymore.
My best advice do not go on automatic pay. Yes it's very convenient. If your loved one passes away the first few days of the month good luck getting your money back. No matter what they tell you. They even wrote me a check, when I cashed it, It bounced. It's been a year, still no refund.
