CriticalLarge studio is a great size. Turnover is a little high in staff but she feels safe and taken care of.
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff is super easy to get a hold of. The nurse calls me back if she doesn't pick up. Same with the Activities Director usually. The value for the money is very, very good. I now have three more relatives who literally left their last place and have now also moved in to Colliers. I thought the food was delicious but my mother tells me that they changed the cook and she says the food is not as good anymore. I cannot provide you a confirmation on that yet until I have another meal over there.

CriticalWe were told that my mother could be well taken care of at Wickshire. She needs transfer assistance to move around from her wheelchair, but no one in this facility was able or willing to assist her. They left her laying in the bed for hours at a time because it was easier for them. We were overcharged for days there that she wasn’t even there. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. The nursing staff are rude and disrespectful. My mother was there for 9 days and was not bathed or assisted to shower. It’s a …

PositiveThis is my second review. Mom at Wickshire Memory unit for approximately 4 months. Still so impressed with this place. Excellent staff. Kind and caring. My mother seems very content. She is definitely well cared for. I visit daily. I believe she is thriving as much as a 95 year old with dementia can thrive. Amazing!! Lots of engaging activities throughout the day. Can’t say enough good things about Wickshire!!

PositiveOn all 7 questions I would rate Wickshire as 5. My father is very well taken care of by the staff. He has gained weight so the food is very good. My mother was treated very well in the memory care unit. I would recommend Wickshire whole heartedly. My dad is very happy with his treatment and surroundings

CriticalWickshire Port Orange kept raising prices. She wasn't happy there. Everyone would rather be in their own home. It wasn't a bad place as far as the care but the food was so so. They did have activities my Mom enjoyed. The main problem was they kept changing her level of care and putting her in a higher money bracket. They say anything to get you in there. The people should ask specific questions. It's not really a bad place if you have money then you may not care about the cost. Also they raised the price of the roo…
