★★★★★
CriticalLack of ADA compliance. Lack of fire code compliance. Lock. Dirty carpeting, and poor diet. Resident don't have access to washing machines so that they can wash their own clothes. I personally like the staff that I deal with, but if I need to drive to a laundromat, and supplement my diet to have a healthy gut then it looks to me like it's easier to just live by myself.
★★★★★
PositiveThey take such good care of my mom. I don't have to worry about her. They take out the trash several times a day. The laundry service is amazing. Rarely do I find anything in her dirty hamper. The office staff including the director and other personnel know me and greet me and ask about my mom by name. The money is at a nice price point that works with my mom's financial and medical needs. So great.
★★★★★
PositiveIt's affordable. It's an older facility but good. My one bedroom is just large enough with a stacked washer/dryer, a dishwasher, and a gas fireplace. A selling factor for me was a storage shed and covered parking for my vehicle which is necessary for winter. Also included in my rent is once a week house cleaning and meals in the dining room. The staff and residents are friendly and nice. The meals are family home cooking food. I am happy to be living here.
★★★★★
PositiveOur loved one has only been there for a couple of days, and we have had a great experience. The staff are always friendly, easy going. The residents are friendly, down to earth and always saying hi. It is not as newer and nice, but the community is half the cost of our loved ones previous place, and when your not in assisted living but in the retirement section, it is like living in an apartment not a nursing home. The food also always smells really good.
★★★★★
PositiveLiked the way there was more outdoors parts. Mom has always been more of an outdoors person, has outdoor courtyard area. Didn't like that in the winter, she would have to crossover outside from her apartment to the dining room. Apartments were very nice. Mom is not fancy, so it was simple.
