About the community
Feel the difference of a smaller, family-owned senior living community at Crest View Manor. This assisted living community in Escondido, California, overlooks the surrounding area from a hilltop vista, offering scenic views of mountain peaks on the horizon. For four generations, families have entrusted caregivers here with the important responsibility of supporting loved ones and cultivating an engaging lifestyle for the mind and body. At Crest View Manor, you can stroll through the beautifully landscaped courtyard or relax on the veranda with new friends. With no more than 38 residents, the community has a close-knit atmosphere where seniors can get to know their neighbors and caregivers. Sometimes, mini horses visit residents and family members are always welcome at this joyous occasion. Bingo, crosswords, succulent gardening, and crafts are an essential part of daily life, while holidays are always filled with parties or special musical performances. Crest View Manor strives to provide an exceptional dining experience, rotating the menu every six weeks and adding special meals like barbecues and pizza parties. While caregivers enable residents to maintain their independence, they’re available to help with activities of daily living and housekeeping services. Residents at Crest View Manor live in a variety of private room types, which vary in cost and size. All bedrooms are private with the exception of those accommodating couples. PositiveAs I seen firsthand while we were seeking for a location for my relatives, the staff is family oriented, compassionate, and nurturing. Crest View Manor is one of the best living facilities in San Diego County, comparable to [removed]. Priced reasonably. This historical property of the old Scripps Escondido ranch is lovely and nicely kept. The care is excellent. Encourages freedom and a high quality of life. The community is quite active.

PositiveMy mom really liked Crest View Manor. It has a great staff and is very clean. I would definitely recommend Crest View Manor to anyone. They were great. Unfortunately my mom was there during Covid, so there wasn't too much activities taking place. But it was a great facility.

PositiveMy mother-in-law and father-in-law moved to Crest View Manor in September 2013 from out of state. They were not happy about leaving their home, but were pleasantly surprised as to how much like home they felt here. Their room has a fireplace and is charming. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law passed away last August, and the compassion the administration and staff has given my father-in-law is amazing. There are all kinds of activities, beautiful views, and warmth throughout.
